LIFE UPDATE!!!

So. Here I sit in the basement bedroom. Yes Im still in "UTAR."
I was all stoked on going to atlanta for my inflight training but I hit a snaffu. Its been 10, count them, 10yrs since I was in Paris last. The only other french I get to speak is with my siblings at random and that isnt the heaviest of converstations. So I took my french test over the phone. Ya, not an easy task. One of the random questions I was asked was, 'Tell me the history of computers for the past 10yrs IN FRENCH' I wanted to say honey how in all that is holy does that pertain to me being a flight attendant?
I couldnt really mouth off so I answered as best I could.
Needless to say I didnt pass my language exam. AND my job was riding on the line.
So Im not going to be a flight attendant.
Suprisingly enough Im not all that sad about it. I thought I would be major upset but when I got the word I was just like, OK.. and on I went. So I figure its just not meant to be. If I want to reapply again in 6 months I can do that. Ill just have to see how I feel in that time.
So thanks for all the well wishes that I was receiving but Im still sticking around. You know where to find me..
Same bat time, Same bat channel.

Skiing with Tom and Steve.

Sadly I do not have pictures of this fun day because my camera was in the shop and my cell phone was totally devoid of power. BUT, we did have OH so much fun. The boys flew in saturday night and we went out dancing and shaking out booties. Sunday we had brunch with some friends, picked up our ski rentals and headed up to ALTA for a day of skiing in the beautiful sunshine. It was such an amazing day. The sun shone all day and it was picturesque. (dang broken camera) Monday we skied again but this time at SnowBird. I was really excited to ski there cause they have this cool tunnel through the mountain from one bowl to the next. HOWEVER! Mother nature in all her glory had the wind blowing so hard up at the top today that they closed the back bowl and so we didnt get to experience the tunnel. We did go up there though and DANGITALL if the wind wasnt blowing so durn hard that it was like ice pelts being shot at your face. IT was blowing so hard that it slowed me down going downhill.. We ended up staying mid mountain the whole day which was just fine with me. I had a blast.. My thighs on the other hand are gonna be singin a painfull song tomorrow when I go to work.

SIDE NOTE FOR ALL YOU READERS.....
I have not heard anything from DELTA concerning my job in 2 WEEKS!!!!!!!
Frustrated much? I think so!! so since I am supposed to be starting a week from tomorrow I thought I might call him again tomorrow and just try to weasel the travel plans outta my recruiter. Pray that I will have the patience to be kind.
love y'all and thanks for your congrats..

Relle take a tumble..

Sara runs to drop wickman off for 2 seconds and I end up with a baby with a gusher headwound. She fell over petting the kitty and bonked her noggin on the seat outside. As I picked her up I saw all the blood and kinda freaked out, before the fear could overtake me I remembered that headwounds bleed a lot. So I thought she might just have a small wound. I held her over the sink with a papertowel on it until it stopped bleeding. Minor crisis averted.. But I might be scared for life...
